Damp hair

On damp hair, apply shampoo uniformly on the scalp. Massage for 30 seconds to 1 minute and rinse thoroughly.

WHEN TO USE
Regular wash days

For gentle cleansing when you don't want to strip natural oils or have soft water. Use a cleansing/chelating shampoo every month for buildup removal.

IMPORTANT NOTE
All hair types

Suitable for all hair types but may not be enough for every condition like hard water or too much scalp buildup. In those cases, alternate with a chelating shampoo.

Sodium alpha-olefin sulfonate is included in a small amount as a secondary cleanser, but the formula contains no SLS or SLES, the harsh sulphates found in most conventional shampoos. The result is a gentler, less stripping clean.

Can I use this on color-treated hair?

Yes. Our gentle, pH-balanced formula is designed to be kind to chemically treated and color-treated hair. The conditioning agents and oils help maintain moisture and reduce protein loss during washing, which supports color longevity. Always follow up with a conditioner or hair mask after washing color-treated hair for best results.

How is this different from a cleansing shampoo?

This is a conditioning shampoo designed for regular use, particularly with soft water. It cleanses gently without stripping natural oils, leaving hair soft and nourished. A cleansing or chelating shampoo, on the other hand, is a stronger formula meant for periodic use to remove hard water mineral buildup, product buildup, and impurities. We recommend alternating with a clarifying shampoo once a month if you live in a hard water area.

What does the flaxseed gel do?

Flaxseed extract creates a natural mucilage, a gel-like substance rich in omega-3 fatty acids. This coats each strand, smoothing the cuticle layer to reduce frizz and add shine. It's especially beneficial for wavy and curly hair types where frizz control matters.
